COVID Isolation/Quarantine Guidelines
If a student/staff is positive, regardless of vaccination status - stay home for 5 full days after positive test day or day after symptoms start, and if feeling better, may return on day 6, fully masking through day 10 (Testing is recommended on day 5 but IS NOT required)
If student/staff has symptoms, regardless of vaccination status - treat as though positive unless provider wishes to have them tested for confirmation
If unvaccinated/unboosted student/staff exposed* - stay home for 5 full days after last day of exposure and monitor for symptoms, isolating from others in the home if possible and may return on day 6, fully masking through day 10 if no symptoms occur
If current in vaccination/booster student/staff exposed* - beginning first full day after exposure, normal activities may continue but fully mask at all times for 10 days and isolate away from positive case if in the home; if symptoms arise, treat as though positive and proceed accordingly
*Exposed = being within 6 feet of someone positive for COVID-19 for a TOTAL of 15 minutes or more within the two days before their positive test
**Possible Symptoms = fever/chills, cough, shortness of breath or trouble breathing, tiredness, muscle/body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea
